Max Is Back!

Fans of Red Roses And Petrol fell in love with the incomparable talent of Max Beesley and have long wondered where to find him next. The actor himself updated World Wide this week - currently, he's in South Africa shooting the third season of BAFTA-nominated MAD DOGS (for Sky1, a premium entertainment channel in the UK). This summer, he'll be reuniting again with Red Roses' Malcolm McDowell to shoot Monster Butler, a 2013 picture that's based on the short by the same name that they teamed up for in 2010. Then in January, look for Beesley in Pawn (an American picture filmed in Connecticut), in which he stars opposite Michael Chiklis, Forest Whitaker, and Ray Liotta. In his downtime, Max has been busy penning Mr. Goodnight, a screenplay that he's anticipating being able to both star in and produce. He hopes to shoot in October or next March in the UK along with his colleague Ray Winstone. The screenplay tells the story of a crime boss in 1960's Manchester, a ruthless leader of a crew from one of the most terrifying gangs to ever come out of the UK.
